Enthusiasm was a quality that I stumbled upon later in life. Raised by a pragmatist, my mother, and an optimist, my dad, I somehow got caught in between. It was through research and reading my dad's old books after a serious illness that I caught a glimpse of what life could be for me. My dad was quiet about his ideals and rarely shared them, but I know they carried him far in life.
